The Saints women's volleyball team sponsored a tri-match on Wednesday evening between Concordia University and Laredo Community College. The Saints played the first match against Laredo Community College, but the Palominos proved too powerful as they won 3-1. The first game saw the Saints leading throughout taking a 25-21 win. The Palominos came back to dominate the Saints in the next two games winning 25-15 and 25-17. The last game of the series was more evenly matched, but the team from Laredo prevailed and won 28-26.

SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 30, 2010) -- Freshman Alisa Bernal's regular season debut as a Saint could not have gone much better. Bernal, the former William Howard Taft High School standout notched two goals and two assists in her first official game for the Our Lady of the Lake University women's soccer team Monday against the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rangers at OLLU's soccer field.

SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 29, 2010) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University men's soccer team won their final two pre-season games Sunday and last Friday, beating Schreiner 4-1 and the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor 2-0. The men conclude their pre-season with a record of 2-1. On Friday, they will take on Texas Lutheran University for their first regular-season game.
