The Saints have been averaging 73.6 points per game this season, but last night in Waxahachie, the team struggled to score just 36 points against Southwestern Assemblies of God University. The Lions, rated no. 1 in defense in the Red River Athletic Conference, beat the Saints 63-36, improving their record to 8-1, while OLLU dropped to 5-4.
The Saints committed 33 turnovers and were held to 25% shooting from the field and 28% from three-point range. Junior point guard Krystal Manning led the Saints in scoring with 12. No other Saints shot in double digits.
 

On Jan. 30, the Saints will face off against Texas Wesleyan University, which is 7-2 in the conference and 11-6 overall.
