LAWRENCE, KAN. (Nov.. 23, 2013) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team and Jonathan Yanez from the men's cross-country team participated in the 2013 NAIA National Cross-Country Championship Meet this morning. The women finished in 29th place, while Yanez came in 117th place out of 313 runners.

Yanez's time was 26:05.68. Eric Avila from Southern Oregon came in first place with a final time of 24:02.45. Oklahoma City University won with an overall time of 2:05:11.

Thirty two teams competed, and British Columbia University placed first. Individually, 319 women competed. Hillary Holt from the College of Idaho finished first with a time of 16:48.13.
