SIOUX CITY, IOWA (Dec. 6, 2013) -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Friday that Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) junior Bryttany Willoughby and 390 other volleyball student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes.
This is Willoughby's first time receiving this award. In her previous two years at OLLU, she has received conference scholar athlete honors, as well as the CoSIDA-Capital One Academic All- District Award.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
