The 108-74 win by the Saints on Monday evening against Wiley College marked their 10th win in 11 games and their third straight. The Saints improved their record to 18-9 overall and 15-3 in the conference, while Wiley dropped to 14-14 and 9-9 in conference.
 
During the first half, the Saints shot 55% from the field and made 7 of 14 free throws. Sherman Howard, playing in his third game since being out on an injury since Jan. 23, scored 14 points and shot 77.8% from the field. The Saints went to the locker room with a 54-31 lead.
 
Ricardo Zanini, who scored nine points in the first half, exploded in the second period scoring 24 points, including six of eight field goals, five of seven 3-pointers and seven of eight free throws. He finished with his season-high 33 points to be the lead scorer of the game. He was followed by Dionelle Rucker who chipped in 23 points and nine rebounds. Robert Martinez scored 11 points and Justin Porter had 10.
 
Marquis Wright for the Wildcats finished with 18 points.
 

The Saints will play their last home game of the year on Thursday against Southwestern Assemblies of God University at 7:30 p.m. The last time the two teams met, the Saints won 112-107.
