Danny Medina, Esteban Rocha and Alain Vallejo from the men's soccer team participated in a TAKS Pep Rally at Meadow Valley Elementary School in the Northside Independent School District last Friday.
School counselor Carlos Garza, who is also an adjunct professor in OLLU's Education Department, invited the student-athletes to speak to the children on their success stories about getting into college and playing sports.

According to Garza, the visit was a great hit. "You can't imagine what an impact you and your students made on our kids. I heard them tell me in the hallway how they want to be like them."

Others participating included Amanda Bonds and Lauren Schultz.
