In the first game, both teams remained scoreless in the first inning. The Saints picked up one run in the second inning and another in the third. After a scoreless fourth and fifth inning, the Saints caught on fire in the sixth and scored another four quick runs. The game was called at the top of the seventh after Texas College's first three hitters failed to get on base.

In the second game, the Saints got on the score board quickly bringing in four runs in the first inning. After a scoreless second inning, Texas College made it onto the board in the third when Jennifer Dews got on base with a walk and then stole her way to home, giving Texas College their only run for the day.

The Saints countered with two runs in the bottom of the third which included a home run by Dawn Villegas, bringing the score to 6-1. The Saints scored two more in the fourth inning and finished it up at the bottom of the fifth with two more runs including a home run by Ashley Elizalde.
