The OLLU Saints men's tennis team claimed two of nine matches against Bethany College from West Virginia on Saturday at the Alamo Heights Tennis Center in San Antonio.
 
Kuda Sengai and Santiago Padilla beat Jack Schoeman and Wil Wiseman in a doubles match, 8-6, and Padilla beat Shane Huggins, 1-6, 7-5 and 10-5 in the two wins for the Saints.
   

In other doubles competition, Carlos Albuja and Aaron Rodriguez for the Saints lost to Huggins and Kody Koester, 8-5. OLLU's Ernesto Silva and Christon Salinas lost to Fernando Paiva and Derek Watson, 8-0.

 
In the singles matches, Albuja lost to Shoeman, 6-4/6-7/2-10; Sengai last to Koester, 7-5/6-4; Rodriguez lost to Paiva, 6-3/6-2;  Everett Patterson (OLLU) lost to Wiseman, 6-3/6-0; Jesse Rojas (OLLU) lost to Watson, 6-3/6-2; Joey Olivas (OLLU) lost to Caleb Jeff, 8-4; and Michale Ramirez (OLLU) lost to Jeff, 8-2.
 
The Saints' next match will take place on March 23 against the University of the Incarnate Word.
