OLLU freshman Jordyn Dougal place eighth in the 2010 Bluebonnet Classic sponsored by Northwood University. Fifty-two golfers competed in the tournament in Cedar Hill, Texas.
In team results, Redlands Community College shot a two-day total of 625 to win the tournament. Charlotte Guilleaux from Wayland Baptist University was the tournament's top medalist with a two-day score of 657.
Dougal, who is from Spring Branch, Texas, shot 80 on both days for a total of 160. Teammate Brady Viertel shot an 80 and 95 to finish in 27th place.
Other competitors included those from Oklahoma City University, Southwern Nazarine University, Tyler Junior College, Northwood University, Rogers State University, University of Texas at Brownsville, University of Dallas, Southwestern College and University of the Southwest.
