The Saints women's tennis team topped Central Christian College 8-1 yesterday at Alamo Heights Tennis Center. The team improves to 3-12 for the spring season.
In doubles competition, Audrey Alba/Thea Lonewolf (OLLU) were defeated by Longoria/Gillilan, 9-8 (11-9); and Michelle Reyes and Jessica Perez (OLLU) defeated Graves /Graves, 8-0.
In singles, Audrey Alba (OLLU) defeated Brittany Longoria, 6-4/6-4; Thea Lonewolf (OLLU) defeated Brittany Gillilan, 6-1/6-3; Monserrat Sierra (OLLU) defeated Laureen Bartel, 6-1/6-1; Jessica Perez (OLLU) defeated Rachel Graves, 6-0/6-0; Liz Holguin (OLLU) defeated Samantha Graves, 6-1/6-0; and Michelle Reyes (OLLU) won by forfeit.
The women will next host Texas Lutheran University on April 14 at the Alamo Heights Tennis Center.
