The Saints dedicated their doubleheader against Texas Wesleyan University on April 9 to Breast Cancer Awareness. The two teams split with the Lady Rams winning game one 7-5 and the Saints taking game two 7-1. Texas Wesleyan improves to 15-3 (23-12), while the Saints are now 18-6 (23-13).
While the student athletes were busy on the field, more than 200 fans from both teams participated in Breast Cancer Awareness activities off the field. Thanks to the generous contributions toward chances for door prizes, a wide variety of food and softball mementos, the Saints raised more than $1,000, all of which will be donated to "Thrive Well Cancer Foundation." The funds will be allocated to the DIVA (Deriving Inspiration and Vitality through Activity) Program and the Patient Assistance Program. The Saints will present a check to the organization at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC) in San Antonio at a later date.

Both Stritz and Elizalde stole their bases advancing them to third and second. Megan Potts' walk loaded the bases. A ground out by Flores and Noel scored Stritz and Elizalde.
