OLLU's Kaitlyn Bourg and Dawn Villegas swept the Red River Athletic Conference's weekly softball awards with Bourg as the player of the week and Villegas as the pitcher of the week for April 12-18.
 
Bourg, a sophomore catcher from Napoleonville, La., went 4-for-8 as the Saints completed a doubleheader sweep against University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M.. She went 1-for-3 in the first game then collected a pair of doubles and three RBIs in five at-bats to help secure a 10-6 win in the second game. OLLU moved to 20-6 in conference play and 25-13 on the season.

Dawn Villegas earned the win and save in the Saints' doubleheader against the University of the Southwest.
es. She earned the win in the opener, 5-3, while allowing six hits and three runs in seven innings of work. Villegas also collected the save for the Saints in the second game by closing out the final two innings and surrendering just one hit and an unearned run. This was Villegas' second consecutive weekly honor.
