Moreno to receive academic and athletic scholarship

 

SAN ANTONIO (May 19, 2010) - Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) announced that Joell Moreno has signed a letter of intent to play tennis at the University beginning in the fall of 2010.
 
Moreno is a senior at Highlands High School in the San Antonio Independent School District. He played competitive tennis at Highlands and was named to the 27-5A All-District Team this year.
  

Head Tennis Coach Sal Castillo indicated that Moreno will be receiving both academic and athletic scholarships to attend the Lake. Moreno plans to major in nursing when he enters the freshman class in August.
