SAN ANTONIO (June 21, 2010) -- Our Lady of the Lake University's Aaron Flores finished in a tie for second place in the Greater San Antonio Men's Amateur Golf Championship this past weekend. Will Griffin, a senior at Texas Tech University, won the tournament for the fourth year in a row.

Griffin's closing 1-under 70 - one of only three scores under par among 136 players on the course Sunday - gave him a 5-under 208 total, two better than fellow collegians Matt Vela of St. Mary's University and Flores (210 -3).

Arnold Martinez Jr., who ended his collegiate eligibility this year at OLLU, finished sixth in the tournament after leading the first round with six-under par 66.
