MARSHALL, TEXAS (Sept. 22, 2018) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) volleyball team delivered the first loss of the season for Wiley College in straight sets in a Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) matchup. With the win, the Saints move to 7-6 overall and 4-0 in conference, while the Wildcats drop to 8-1 overall and 0-2 in conference.
Head Coach Jeremiah Tiffin said, "Wiley is always a tough place to play and we were fortunate that they weren't fully healthy today. With that being said, I thought we played close to as well as we have this year.
"This was a complete team effort. Our bench did a great job preparing us for what we expected Wiley to do and we were ready. Hopefully we can continue to play at this level and continue our winning streak."
The Saints are 11-7 against Wiley College since 2008. The last time the Saints lost to the Wildcats was in 2012.
