MARSHALL, TEXAS (Oct. 4, 2018) – Despite outshooting Wiley College 31 to 19, the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team was unable to come away with a win. The Saints lost 3-2 in overtime to move to 5-2-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference. Wiley improves to 2-3 overall and 2-1 in conference.
Head Coach Shane Hurley commented, "It's a very disappointing loss. We dug ourselves in a hole early by not putting away clear opportunities and slopping defending. We worked hard to equalize and gave Wiley little to nothing going forward; however, again, we failed to put them away with multiple good chances, and they made us pay for it."
