NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS (Nov. 20, 2018) – Despite a first half lead of 41-38, the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball team fell 93-77 to NCAA DI Stephen F. Austin University in an exhibition game. This is the first meeting for both teams. The Saints remain at 3-1 overall and the Ladyjacks improve to 3-1 overall this season.
Head Coach Christopher Minner commented,"We played outstanding for 25 minutes. There were five minutes where we got rattled. Playing teams like this only makes us better. SFA will win the Southland and we competed with them for a long time. We need to have confidence against teams like this and compete to win. This was an exhibition game, so it doesn't hurt us. We will learn and get better. More positive than negative tonight."
