LAREDO, TEXAS (Feb. 6, 2019) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team opened up their 2019 schedule at the Jack Brown Memorial hosted by Texas A&M International University at the Laredo Country Club. The Saints had a first round seventh-place finish and second and third round eighth-place finishes.
Head Coach Alan Baxter commented, "We did not play as we expected. Everyone including the coaching staff are incredibly disapointed. Steve Landry (SR/Cibolo, Texas) played decently well. He has a chance to be a first-team All-American. Louis held it together. Scott Tredo (SO/Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas) showed some flashes of what he can do. Enough said, now we have to go out and play well in Victoria and then at TPC-SA."
