TEXARKANA, TEXAS (March 1, 2019) – The Saints will head to the championship game of the 2019 Raising Cane's Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Women's Basketball Tournament after tonight's 85-67 semifinal win over Huston-Tillotson University (HTU). The Saints breezed past the No. 3 seed and will take on conference foe LSU-Shreveport (LSUS) on March 2 at 4 p.m.
Head Coach Christopher Minner said, "It's always good to win and advance. Our depth was big for us today. It was a very physical game but we did a good job of dictating the tempo and playing at our pace. It's hard to beat a team three times so we knew it would be a battle. We will need to dictate tempo and rebound today to claim another championship."
