
Three track and field student-athletes earn NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition

KANSAS CITY, MO. (May 24, 2019) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the men's and women's track & field student-athletes who have been named 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
Selected from Our Lady of the Lake University are Andrew Moczygemba (JR/San Antonio, Texas), who earned a 3.61 GPA, Miki Romain (JR/Austin, Texas), who earned a 3.58 and Clayton Townsend (JR/Schertz, Texas), who earned a 3.62.
