
WINDCREST, TEXAS (Sept. 21, 2019) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team placed fourth in the Third Annual Saints Collegiate Cross-Country Invitational held at the Windcrest Golf Club. The Saints finished first among other Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) teams.
Capturing the tournament title was NJCAA El Paso Community College with a score of 40, followed by NCAA D3 Trinity University at 44, NCAA D2 Texas A&M International University at 93 and OLLU at 124.
Following OLLU were the following: NCAA D3 McMurry University - 132, NCAA D3 Texas Lutheran University, NCJAA North Central College at 175, NAIA Texas Wesleyan University at 182, NCAA D2 Texas A&M University - Kingsville at 215, NCAA D3 Sul Ross State University at 288 and NAIA/RRAC Texas College at 314.
The Saints' top finisher was Sabrina Garcia, who ran the 6k at 25:09.2 for 19th place. Other finishers are as follows:
