SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 4, 2019) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) volleyball team swept Paul Quinn College (PQC) 3-0. The Saints move to 12-3 on the season and 5-1 in Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) play. The Tigers drop to 3-16 overall and 1-5.
The Saints were tested in the first set, winning 25-23. OLLU rode the momentum into the second set by only allowing 10 points to the Tigers. The Saints recorded a .476 and .421 hitting percentage in the second and third set. OLLU tallied double-digit kills in every set and finished with 52. The Saints only committed one error in the second set. Following tonight's win, the Saints remain undefeated against the Tigers, leading the all-time series 3-0.
This is the third matchup against Paul Quinn. The Saints swept the Tigers in 2008 and this season in Dallas.
