SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 17, 2019) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team ended in a 0-0 draw against LSU-Alexandria (LSUA) on Thursday. The Saints move to 9-4-2 on the season and 5-1-1 in Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) play. LSUA is 9-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in conference matchups.
Coach Shane Hurley commented on the match, saying, "The effort was good even though the result was not what we wanted. We must be more polished and frugal with our opportunities."
The Saints outshot the Generals by seven shots on goal. They also tallied 13 more shots than LSUA. Keelin Garrity (SO/Katy, Texas) played all 110 minutes in net and made five saves. Generals goalie Alvaro Garcia also played the length of the match and made 12 saves. There were 24 fouls committed overall in the match.
