Men's golf finishes first two rounds in Victoria

VICTORIA, TEXAS (Feb. 17, 2020) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team finished the first two rounds of play at the Claud Jacobs Invitational at the Victoria Golf Club yesterday.

Out of nine teams, the Saints finished in fourth place. They will play their final round today.

Texas Wesleyan University is in first place with a total of 582. They are followed by Houston-Victoria at 586 and McLennan Community College at 596. After OLLU at 602 are Blinn College (B) at 607, University of the Southwest at 618, Blinn College at 625, Tyler Junior College at 626 and Louisiana College at 654.

OLLU is led by Raul Gutierrez (SO/San Antonio, Texas) with a total of 147, followed by Diego Ibarra (FR/Eagle Pass, Texas) at 149, Kane Ybarra (SR/San Antonio, Texas) at 153, Diego Garcia (SO/Guadalajara, Mexico) at 153, and Daniel Jones (SO/Comfort, Texas) at 162.
