SAN ANTONIO (March 1, 2020) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball defeated Huston-Tillotson University (HTU) 126-66 yesterday. No. 12-ranked OLLU finishes the regular season 25-5 overall and 17-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). HTU falls to 13-11 overall and 10-8 in conference. The Saints are the No. 1 seed heading into the RRAC tournament starting on March 5. With the victory the Saints have won 13 straight games.
The Saints are 26-1 against Huston-Tillotson, with the only loss coming in 2014.
The Saints never trailed during the game. The Rams were able to match the Saints offense in the first quarter and trailed by nine points. The Saints went on a 13-0 run in the second quarter and led at halftime 65-35. Dezeree White (SO/Houston, Texas) led the Saints with 14 points and eight rebounds.
OLLU tallied 30 points in the third quarter and had 95 points heading into the fourth quarter. The Saints finished shooting 57.5 percent from the field and Jamia Miller (SR/Odessa, Texas) led the Saints with 21 points. White set the Saints women's single game steals record with 10.
Miller led the Saints in scoring with 21 points, followed by Lena Wilson (SR/Converse, Texas) with 19 and Kasey Saldana (SR/San Antonio, Texas) with 15. Alexis White (SO/Houston, Texas) led the team with nine rebounds. Angeline Sanchez (FR/Cibolo, Texas) led the Saints with four assists.
HTU was led by Traeli Calhoun with 23 points. Calhoun also led the Rams with seven rebounds. Kayla Barber led the Rams with four assists.

OLLU combined for 46-of-80 shooting for 57.5 percent, 10-of-25 from three-point range for 40 percent and 24-of-29 from the free-throw line for 82.8 percent. HTU shot 24-of-62 for 38.7 percent, 5-of-20 three pointers for 25 percent and 13-of-19 from the free-throw line for 68.4 percent.
The Saints grabbed 49 rebounds while the Rams collected 29. OLLU forced 30 turnovers and committed 17.
