SAN ANTONIO (April 27, 2011) -- The Red River Athletic Conference Softball Championship Tournament is set to take place April 29-30 in Farmers Branch, Texas.

No. 1 seed Northwood University and No. 2 seed Our Lady of the Lake University will have a first-round bye. At noon on April 29, the Saints will take on the winner of the game between No. 3 seed Texas Wesleyan University and No. 6 seed Langston University that takes place at 10 a.m.



The Saints finished the regular season last week with an overall record of 25-18 and a conference record of 16-5. Northwood finished at the top of the league with an overall record of 34-13 and a conference record of 18-3. No. 3 seed Texas Wesleyan follows the Saints in third place with an overall record of 21-27 and a conference record of 13-8. No. 4 University of the Southwest (14-25/10-11), No. 5 Huston-Tillotson University (14-24/10-11) and No. 6 Langston University (10-19/9-12) round out the rest of the tournament participants. Bacone College and Texas College did not qualify.

Game 1: No. 4 University of the Southwest vs. No. 5 Huston-Tillotson, 10 a.m.
Game 2: No. 3 Texas Wesleyan vs. No. 6 Langston, 10 a.m.
Game 3: No. 1 Northwood vs. Winner Game 1, 12 noon
Game 4: No. 2 Our Lady of the Lake vs. Winner Game 2, 12 noon
Game 5: Loser Game1 vs. Loser Game 2, 2 p.m.
Game 6: Loser Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4, 2 p.m.
Game 7: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 30
Game 8: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6, 10 a.m.
Game 9: Loser Game 7 vs. Winner Game 8, 12 noon

Championship Game: 4 p.m.
Second Championship Game: 6 p.m. (if necessary)
