 AUSTIN, TEXAS (Sept. 12, 2011) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team played its first goal-less draw of the season against Mid- America Christian University (MACU) on Saturday.

 

The match was played in Austin, Texas, on the campus of Huston-Tillotson University.

 

The Saints had several goal-scoring opportunities and tested MACU goalkeeper, Zane Bourne.

 

Yared Temesgen had four shots on goal for OLLU. Steven Salinas recorded three, while Aaron Guerrero and AJ Gonzalez had two each.

 

Saints goalkeeper Nick Garza had to come up with five saves to keep his goal intact.

 

Salinas, Octavio Herrera and senior Jack Martinez were all booked for the Saints.

 

OLLU is now 2-2-1 for the season and will play a scrimmage Sept. 13, against Coastal Bend Community College.
