David Duque finished in ninth place.

ABILENE, TEXAS (Sept. 12, 2011) -- David Duque placed ninth in the Bill Libby Invitational last Saturday at McMurry University in Abilene. Lubbock Christian University's Isaias Miranda won the tournament and helped his team to a first-place finish.


Duque ran an 8k time of 27:52. Coach Stephen Sherman was pleased with his time. "This was a really good race for David."


Jonathan Cepeda ran a 30:50, and Chris Robins ran a 32:15.

The Saints' next competition will take place on Sept. 16 at the UTSA Ricardo Romo Relays
