STILLWATER, OKLA. (Oct. 3, 2011) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University Saints  had a decent day, according to Head Coach Stephen Sherman, at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater.

"I was most impressed with the way Jonathan (Cepeda) ran. He met and exceeded his potential,"  said Coach Sherman.


New Mexico Highlands recorded a team score of 54 to win the college-divison. Southwestern (Kan.) posted a team score of 121 for second place.


David Duque ran a 28:45.67 to finish at 121st place out of 218 runners. Cepeda finished with a 30:24.54 time (170), and Chris Robins ended with a 34:18.16 time (210).


The Saints next meet is scheduled for Oct. 8 at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
