KANSAS CITY, MO. (Nov. 14, 2011 – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll last Friday. Our Lady of the Lake University has been listed as 13th.



Defending national champion Oklahoma Christian University has been selected to the top place by collecting 14 of 17 first-place votes and 465 points.

 

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The first regular-season Top 25 poll will be announced on March 16, 2012.
 

Also making the top 25 from the Red River Athletic Conference was No. 6 Texas Wesleyan University and No. 24 Northwood University. Last year, the Saints were also picked 13th in the nation. The team received 284 total points.

 

Team members include junior Aaron Flores, freshman Andrew Gold, freshman Dustin Blair, senior Jack Shores, sophomore John Mulholland, junior Larry Lopez and sophomore Nicolas Chacon. Head coach is Eric Moore.
