Our Lady of the Lake University's (OLLU) men's golf team competed in Cedar Hill earlier this week in the Tangle Ridge Shootout sponsored by Northwood University. The Saints finished in eigth place.
 
Freshman Aaron Flores shot a 76 in the first round and a 70 in the final round of the tournament to finish with a score of 146. Flores placed 3rd out of a slate of 48 golfers.
 
Junior Jacob Torres shot an 83 in the first round and a 76 in the final round, while senior Arnold Martinez shot an 84 in the first round and an 81 in the final round. Sophomore Adam Palacios' results were: 90-81 and freshman Larry Lopez's results were 92-76.
 
Schools competing in the tournament included: Oklahoma Baptist University, Texas Wesleyan University, University of the Southwest, Northwood University, University of Texas at Brownsville,

Lubbock Christian University and Texas Wesleyan University.
