FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS (May 3, 2012) -- Members of the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Men's Bowling Team competed in the regional doubles match this past weekend. On April 28, the qualifying six games to get put into the main draw of the double-elimination tournament took place.

Bowlers Ralph Reyes and Ernest Silva both bowled six games and their totals were as follows:

The two qualified as the fourth seed for the whole tournament with a total of 2,689 points with handicap.

On the second day, the Saints started the tournament against the fifth seed from Brownwood, Texas. The tournament was formatted where both bowlers bowl two games and the team they bowl against bowl two games each; final scores are totaled and the highest score moves on. The scores are as follows:

Ralph Reyes: 244-245
Ernest Silva: 227-221

The two won the round by 378 pints.

In the second round, the Saints played the second seed from Amarillo, Texas.

Ernest Silva: 196-178
