The OLLU community wished the Saints a fond farewell and joined in a blessing before the team left for the  Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Championship Tournament in Fort Worth.
 
The No. 5 seeded Saints will compete against No. 4 seeded Texas Wesleyan University (TWU) at 11 a.m. on Nov. 13. Access live stats at the TWU athletics site, or for regular updates, follow the Saints on Twitter at www.twitter.come/OLLUSaints.
 
Dr. Peter Zografos, director of Campus Ministry, along with Sister Patrice SuOLLU Saints Volleyball Teamllivan and Gloria Urrabazo, led the group in prayers for the student-athletes and coaches. Jack Hank, vice president for student life/athletic director, wished the team good luck and reminded them of the five core values of champions of character -- respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.
 
The winner of the game between OLLU and TWU will play the University of Texas at Brownsville (No. 1) at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 13. The winner of the game between Southwestern Assemblies of God University (No. 3) and Huston-Tillotson University (No. 6) at 1:30 p.m. wil play Wiley College (No. 2) at 7:30 p.m. also on Nov. 13.
 
The championship game will take place on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.

UT-Brownsville led the conference with a 16-0 record (29-1 overall). Wiley College comes in second with a 14-2 record (20-4 overall). At third is Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a 10-6 record (23-8 overall). Texas Wesleyan University is fourth with a 10-6 record (16-16 overall), and at fifth is OLLU, who also finished with a 10-6 record (15-12 overall). Huston-Tillotson University from Austin placed sixth with a record of 5-11 and 6-31 overall.
