Volleyball coaches in the Red River Athletic Conference chose sophomore Liza Rodriguez as a member of the 2009 All-Red River Athletic Conference First Team. Rodriguez, who is a right side/outside hitter, finished the season with 192 kills and a hitting percentage of .294.    
   
Selected to the Second Team were senior Robyn Bush and sophomore Elyse Escobar.
 
Middle blocker Bush had 102 kills and a hitting percentage of .222. She led the team with 49 blocks for the season.
 
Escobar, a setter, had a total of 412 assists and 28 aces.
 
Rodriguez hails from El Paso, Texas, where she graduated from Montwood High School. She is majoring in engineering.
 
Bush, a native of Paris, Texas, attended Paris Junior College and North Lamar High School. She is majoring in kinesiology and plans to graduate this school year.
 
Escobar, who is from San Antonio, graduated from Earl Warren High School. She is majoring in speech pathology.
