SEGUIN, TEXAS (Oct. 5-6, 2012) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's tennis participated in the Third Annual Texas Lutheran University Doc Skogman Invitational in Seguin on Friday and Saturday. The Saints won two sets and lost 14 in singles and doubles matches.
OLLU junior Leslie Cooper won the women's flight d quarterfinals against Olivia Baltazar, UTPB, by a score of 3-6/6-2/1-0 (4). In addition, Alexia Guarneros won the women's flight i seventh place round against Karson Kent, ETBU, by a score of 6-2/4-6/1-0 (6).
The Doc Skogman Invitational featured 16 schools, 29 combined women's and men's teams, and more than 200 individual competitors. Matches were contested across Seguin with courts used at TLU, Seguin High School, Jim Barnes Middle School, and Max Starcke Park. A combined 39 women's and men's singles and doubles draws were contested.
