GARRETT CONSTANCEConstance, a native of Woodlands, Texas, will transfer to OLLU from NCAA Division I Wagner College in New York. The 6'5" forward played on the College Park High School varsity team all four years. During his freshman and sophomore years, he was named to the All-District Second Team. As a junior, Constance received MVP honors at the Sherman Invitational Tournament and was selected as the Most Outstanding Player in District 15-5A.
His team was Area, Bi-District and District Champs. As a senior, he garnered Most Outstanding Player honors in Montgomery County and was a McDonald's All-American nominee. His team went 10-0 and was District 15-5A champs. In addition, he was awarded Best Offensive Player by his coaches and teammates.
"Garrett is a Division I talent who can really shoot the ball. He will fit in great in our system with his versatility as a player," said Head Men's Basketball Coach Russell Vanlandingham. JOHN HARRIS John Harris is a transfer student from East Mississippi Community College (EMCC) in Scooba, Miss. While at EMCC, Harris helped his team to a two-year composite record of 44-18. This past season, the team finished with 27-7 overall and 10-2 league records and won the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges North Division tournament. The Lions finished as runner-ups in the state tournament and went on to win the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 championship to earn the school's first-ever appearance in the NJCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
The 6'2" guard averaged 6.2 points per game with a field goal percentage of 56.7 and a free-throw percentage of 56.7. In 33 games played at EMCC, he averaged 5.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals a game.
Harris will enter OLLU as a junior. He is originally from Starkville, Miss., and was a prep student at Starkville High School. "John comes to us from a very successful junior college program where he has been a proven winner," said Head Men's Basketball Coach Russell Vanlandingham. "He will be one of the top defensive players in the Red River Athletic Conference next year and will fit in great in our system. He understands what it takes to win and I expect him to be a big factor next year in our quest to win a conference championship."

ISAIAH JACKSONIsaiah Jackson is a junior transfer student. Jackson hails from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC), where he shot 40% from 3-point-range and over 50% from the field.
The 6'6" wing averaged 13 points and five rebounds per game while at MGCCC and was named Defensive Player of the Year. A native of New Braunfels, Jackson attended Canyon High School, where he averaged 18 points and six rebounds a game and was named first-team all conference. In addition, he was selected to the Greater San Antonio Express-News Super Team and was deemed Newcomer of the Year in 2007-2008. Jackson led his high school team to a 29-2 record as a junior and a 23-4 mark as a sophomore, while recoding back-to-back district titles.
"Isaiah will be one of the top new transfers in the Red River Athletic Conference. He should have an immediate impact on our program and in our conference next season," said Head Men's Basketball Coach Russell Vanlandingham. Deante Jones is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jones averaged 13.3 points and 16 rebounds per game his senior year for the Valley High School Vikings. He was the second leading rebounder in the state of Nevada.
Jones' accomplishments include being nominated for the 2008 McDonalds All-American Player award and being named the Top Sleeper at Blue Chips Five Star Champ in Lexington, Ky. The 6'8" transfer student from the University of Alaska Fairbanks began his collegiate athletic career at NCAA Division I Texas Southern University in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, where he played in 13 games.
