Academics
Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), founded in 1895 by the Congregation of Divine Providence, is a co-educational liberal arts institution with an enrollment of approximately 2,751 students. The university offers 33 bachelor's degree programs, 14 master's degree programs and two doctoral degree programs. Academic degree programs are offered in the arts, sciences, business, education, professional studies and social work. OLLU also offers a dual-language (English and Spanish) certification option with all undergraduate degree programs. Classes are offered in daytime, evening, weekend and online formats.

Our Lady of the Lake University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of Our Lady of the Lake University that fall under one of these areas: (1) to learn about the accreditation status of the institution, (2) to file a third-party comment at the time of the institution's decennial review, or (3) to file a complaint against the institution for alleged non-compliance with a standard or requirement.

The main campus is located in San Antonio, Texas, and online and Weekend College Programs are offered in San Antonio, The Woodlands and the Rio Grande Valley (Harlingen).

Student-athletes attending OLLU will be provided opportunities for growth in a positive collegiate experience through student-centered educational activities, a preparation for lifelong learning and commitment of service to others. Each student-athlete at OLLU is expected to graduate.

 
The NAIA Champions of Character program aims to instill five core values in NAIA athletes, coaches: respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership, and sportsmanship. Our Lady of the Lake University shares and supports these values and strives to promote the Champions of Character program by working with students, coaches through our Champions of Character educational program.
