Dante Childs - Assistant Coach - 2nd Season
Dante Childs is pursuing a master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University while working as assistant tennis coach.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from OLLU. In 2008, Childs became a personal trainer for the University, which led to his position as the head of conditioning for the tennis team.

While attending Pleasanton High School in Pleasanton, Texas, Childs earned four years of tennis experience. He made the varsity doubles team as a freshman in 1990. He was given an Honorable Mention in 1992 for singles play, and he made the Second-Team All-District for doubles in 1991 and 1993.

Additionally, Childs brings coaching experience from several years of coaching boy's basketball as well as boys and girls soccer. In 1997, Childs led the St. Martin's Hall 7th grade boy's basketball team to a second place finish in its conference. In 1998, the 8th grade boy's basketball team was named third-place finalists. While coaching 4th and 5th grade girls' basketball in 1999, he led the team to a 12-0 record and the team was named the undefeated champions. In the same year, his 4th and 5th grade boys' and girls' soccer teams became first place finalists.

Childs' love of sports started at an early age, when he found himself playing different sports just to be outside. He is a native of Pleasanton, Texas.
