Victoria Ibarra - Assistant Coach - 1st Season
This will be Victoria Ibarra's first season in her career as an assistant volleyball coach at the university level. Victoria attended Cameron University in Lawton, Okla., where she earned an associate degree in science in pre-nursing and is currently finishing up her Bachelor of Science in IDS and natural science.
 
While at Cameron, Ibarra's team made it three years to the conference tournament, two of which were hosted by Cameron. While playing freshman year at Cameron, she received Co-Freshman of the year, three time Setter of the Week, Second-Team All-Conference, and during the summer of that year, she was invited to play for an international team in Holland and Germany. During her sophomore year, Ibarra earned Second-Team All-Conference Honors and three Setter of the week honors. In her junior year, Ibarra was selected as Team Captain and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference, All- Tournament Team and three Setter of the Week honors. While a senior, Ibarra earned  Floor Captain honors once again and First-Team All-Conference, Conference Tournament All-Tournament Team, three time Setter of the Week honors, Cameron University All Time Setter, All-Conference All-Regional Team, Daktronics All Regional Team and the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Region Honorable Mention Team.
 
Ibarra had the opportunity to represent Cameron as the NCAA Division II Female Leadership Conference Representative. She also participated three years in the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
 
Ibarra also attended Hart High School in Santa Clarita, Calif. . She played her first season of club volleyball in California for Magic Club then SCAC while participating in volleyball for Hart. She was captain both freshman and sophomore year while earning MVP sophomore year. Ibarra also participated in soccer for two years at Hart.
 
At Robert E. Lee HIgh School in San Antonio, she finished up her final two years of high school. During her junior year, she suffered an ACL tear and as a result was out the entire volleyball season. After surgery and rehabbing intensely, she managed to play club and finished up a little bit of spring volleyball while playing softball both years. During her senior year, Ibarra earned three All-Tournaments as a right side hitter and Second-Team All-District along with numerous team awards at the end of the season. At  Lee, Ibarra participated in Peer Assistant and Leadership (PAL), graduated with the Principal's Pride Award and as a Texas Scholar.
 
While in San Antonio she continued her club experience with San Antonio Heat Club Team and then finished senior year with Alamo Club Team.
