        <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 6, 2012)&amp;mdash;&lt;/strong&gt;The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men&amp;#39;s basketball won a narrow victory over the University of St. Thomas (UST) 77-74 in a conference game Saturday afternoon at Mabee Gymnasium.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The win puts the Saints&amp;#39; overall record at 18-4, and the team stays on top of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) with a conference record of 15-1. LSU-Shreveport sits one and a half&amp;nbsp;games behind the Saints (16-6/14-3), while Texas Wesleyan University (17-4/12-3) is two and a half games back, and St. Thomas (14-8/12-4) drops to three games behind in fourth place.&lt;/p&gt;&amp;nbsp;</description>

        <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 2, 2012) -- &lt;/strong&gt;The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team will enter the 2012 season with higher expectations in its second year under head coach, &lt;a class=&quot;rosterProfileLink&quot; href=&quot;/roster/14/5/566.php&quot;&gt;James Kling&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After a transition period in which the players had to adapt to a new coach, Kling saw the end of last season as a positive time.&amp;nbsp; According to the second-year coach, the Saints began to click at the end of the season when they finished second in the Red River Athletic Conference and as a semifinalist in the conference tournament.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The team will look to improve from 2011&amp;#39;s 26-20 overall&amp;nbsp;record and 16-5 conference record. Kling expects better results as the team has had plenty of time to adapt to his coaching methods.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;quot;The majority of the girls returned, and starting in the fall, we were able to pick up right where we left off last year,&amp;quot; Kling said.&lt;/p&gt;&amp;nbsp;</description>

(Jan.30, 2012) -- &lt;/strong&gt;In 2009, the unranked Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's basketball team notched its most impressive win of the season when it beat Louisiana State University-Shreveport (LSUS). Back then, the Pilots were ranked No. 6 in the Top 25 NAIA Poll and were undefeated. Two years later, the No. 5-ranked Saints recorded their first loss of the season at the hands of unranked LSUS.&lt;/p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;p&gt;After winning 15 consecutive games, the Saints fell to LSUS 74-83. As the nation's leader in scoring offense (2,203/100.136), the game was the Saints' lowest-scoring conference game of the season.&lt;/p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;p&gt;OLLU is now 14-1 (17-4) in the Red River Athletic Conference and a full two games ahead of second-place LSUS (12-3/14-6).
