WACO, TEXAS (May 9, 2013) -- The 2013 Red River Athletic Conference Softball All-Conference Team and individual award-winners as voted by the conference's coaches were announced yesterday. The top 18 players in the conference were selected to the All-Conference Team regardless of position.

Our Lady of the Lake University's Maegan Ramirez and Brittany Stone -- both sophomores -- were selected to the team. The two were also selected to last year's All-Conference Team.

SAN ANTONIO (May 3, 2013) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has received notice that Brittany Stone has been named to the First Team of the Capital One Academic All-District Softball Team, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

Nominations for the awards are submitted by members of the association. News and Sports Information Officer Patty Constantin represents OLLU in the association.

SAN ANTONIO (April 26-27, 2013) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team played its last home games of the season last weekend. On Friday, the Saints lost 3-5, and they lost the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday 1-5. The team came back to win the last game of the series 3-0.

The Saints end their season with a 33-14 overall record and 19-5 in the Red River Athletic Conference.

TYLER, TEXAS (April 12-13, 2013) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team allowed just one run while scoring 37 in a triple-header against Texas College this past weekend. The Saints won 19-0, 10-1 and 8-0.

The wins move the Saints to 32-12 in the Red River Athletic Conference and 18-3 overall, while Texas College drops to 0-18 in the conference.

SAN ANTONIO (April 9, 2013) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team shared a doubleheader with NCAA DI Texas Southern University on Tuesday afternoon. The Saints won the first game 8-7 in extra innings, and then lost the second game 9-2.

The Saints are now 29-12 overall and remain 15-3 in the Red River Athletic Conference. Texas Southern moves to 24-12.
