
SALEM, ORE. (May 17,2013) -- (Individual Results | Team Results) Oklahoma City claimed its second-straight national title Friday with a win at the 62nd annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championships presented by FORE! Salem at Creekside Golf Club. The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Saints finished in seventh place.
The Saints, who came back from a first and secound round 11th place to a third-round sixth place, finished in seventh with a final score of 1,191 (301-301-285-304). OLLU also finished in seventh place in the 2012 national tournament.
The Stars, who never trailed during the event, registered a team score of 291 en route to posting a tournament-low 4-under, 1,148 (280-288-289-291). Oklahoma City, the first team to repeat as national champions since accomplishing the same feat in 2006 and 2007, now owns nine men's golf championship banners in the last 13 years, which leads all NAIA institutions.

(May 16, 2013) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) jumped five spots to finish in 6th place after three days of the 62nd annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championships presented by FORE! Salem. Defending national champion Oklahoma City University extended its lead to 16-strokes after three rounds. The 2013 event is being hosted at Creekside Golf Club by the Cascade Collegiate Conference and Corban University (Ore.).
The No. 7 ranked Saints finished the third round with an overall score of 285 after finishing the first and second round with 301 each day. The team is now at 887 and +23 to par. Oklahoma City finished today at 289 (857), followed by Texas Wesleyan University (873), California State - San Marcos (879), Johnson & Wales (881) and Grand View University (882). The six teams, along with Faulkner (891), University of the Cumberlands (892), Bellevue (893), Lee (896), University of St. Thomas (899), Northwood (900), British Columbia (901), Milligan (901), Southeastern (912), Wayland Baptist (914) and Northwestern (916) will advance to the final round on Friday.

The No. 7 ranked Saints finished the second round with an overall score of 301, and combined with a first-round score of 301, the team is now +26 (602). Oklahoma City finished at 288 (568), followed by Grand View University (582), Bellevue University (587), California State-San Marcos (587), Johnson & Wales (591), Texas Wesleyan University (594), University of the Cumberlands (594), University of St. Thomas (598), British Columbia (599) and Northwestern (599).

(May 14, 2013) – (Day One Individual Results | Day One Team Results | Second Round Pairings) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is in a tie for 11th place after having played 18 holes in day one of the 2013 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships. Defending national champion Oklahoma City University closed the day with an eight-stroke lead. The 62nd annual event is being played out at Creekside Golf Club and is hosted by the Cascade Collegiate Conference and Corban University (Ore.).
The No. 7 ranked Saints finished the first round with an overall score of 301 and 13+. Oklahoma City finished at 280, followed by Grand View University (288), Johnson & Wales (294), Faulkner (294), Bellevue (294), British Columbia (296), Northwestern (296), Texas Wesleyan University (297), Wayland Baptist (299) and California State - San Marcos (299). OLLU is tied with Southwestern (Kan.).

SALEM, ORE. (May 13, 2013) -- (Live Scoring | Sunset in Salem) -- The 2013 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships are scheduled to open action Tuesday at Creekside Golf Club in Salem, Ore., at 7 a.m. PDT (9 a.m. Central). The 62nd annual event is a 72-hole stroke play tournament that will be played over the course of four days, concluding with the final round on Friday.
The Our Lady of the Lake University Saints – making their third trip to the nationals – will tee off at 12:50 p.m. PDT (2:50 p.m. Central). The Saints, the No. 7 ranked team in the NAIA, received the No. 3 at-large bid.
