SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 26, 2010) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's cross-country team will begin its inaugural season in September against McMurry University. Head Coach Stephen Sherman says that only time will tell how the team will perform. "This is a brand-new team. No one has run on the collegiate level, so we'll have to see how they do."

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the qualifiers for the 30th Annual Women's NAIA Cross Country National Championships. Thirty-two teams, including 25 conference/independent/unaffiliated champions, six at-large bids and 117 individual qualifiers, will run in the women's 5K. Representing the Red River Athletic Conference and OLLU will be freshman Miriam Vazquez.
