SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 23, 2010) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has signed junior transfer Marco Cooper to its 2010-2011 men's basketball squad. Cooper is a native of Freeport, Bahamas.

SAN ANTONIO (May 24, 2010) -- The Saints men's basketball team participated in the spring clinic sponsored by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC). The clinic, held last Thursday and Friday at Municipal Auditorium in downtown San Antonio, was attended by more than 2,000 men's and women's basketball coaches from throughout the state.

Event featured retrospective video, awards
 
Coach Russell Vanlandingham and the men's basketball team welcomed more than 100 family members, alumni, faculty and staff to a retrospective luncheon on Saturday afternoon. The event opened with a prayer by Sister Ann Petrus, CDP and a lunch buffet catered by El Taco Naso.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2009-2010 Division I Men's Basketball All-America Teams on Tuesday.

OLLU Head Men's Basketball Coach Russell Vanlandingham, along with Marquet Norfleet of Texas College, has been named Coach of the Year in the 2009-2010 Red River Athletic Conference. In addition, freshman Dionelle Rucker was selected as Newcomer of the Year and a member of the First-Team All Conference. 
 
Freshman Robert Martinez was selected to the Second Team, and Curtis Bowens Jr. and Keonte Logan received Honorable Mention.
