KANSAS CITY, MO. (Nov. 14, 2011 – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll last Friday. Our Lady of the Lake University has been listed as 13th.
Defending national champion Oklahoma Christian University has been selected to the top place by collecting 14 of 17 first-place votes and 465 points.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The first regular-season Top 25 poll will be announced on March 16, 2012.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (Nov. 1, 2011) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team dropped from a fourth-place first round to a three-way tie for 10th place in the final round of the River Oaks Intercollegiate golf tournament.
The event was sponsored by Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, Okla.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS (Oct. 25, 2011) -- Our Lady of the Lake University's men's golf team shot an 881 to win the Northwood Fall Shootout at the Tangle Ridge Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
The first round of the tournament on Monday was delayed due to heavy fog as the slate of participants began at noon instead of the scheduled 8 a.m. start. The group was not able to finish the abbreviated 30 holes until Tuesday morning, and the final round followed.

SALEM, ORE. (Oct. 4, 2011) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) finished in fourth place, while another Red River Athletic Conference member Texas Wesleyan University held off a late charge by Johnson & Wales from Miami to win the 2011 NAIA Fall Preview played Monday and Tuesday at Creekside Golf Club.
OLLU freshman Dustin Blair tied for sixth place with a combined two-round total of 3-over 147 (72-75). Texas Wesleyan's Blake Vinson won top medalist with a combined two-round total of 2-under 142 (70-72), while three other players tied for second overall.

SALEM, ORE. (Oct. 3, 2011) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) (296, +8) is in third place after the opening day of the 2011 NAIA Fall Preview co-hosted by Corban University and the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Texas Wesleyan University (290, +2) is the overall leader by two strokes over British Columbia (292, +4).
Individually, there is a two-way tie for first place between Texas Wesleyan's Joel Thelen and Blake Vinson with both players shooting 2-under 70 over the opening 18 holes. British Columbia's Dennis Nikou is sitting alone in third place at 1-under 71. OLLU's Dustin Blair is in a six-way tie for fourth place at even par 72.
