SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 24, 2010) -- The OLLU Saints women's tennis team earned the highest GPA of any other intercollegiate team at OLLU with a cumulative GPA of 3.316. Each member of the team finished with 3.0 GPA or higher.
Tennis, which is not sponsored by the Red River Athletic Conferece (RRAC), participates as an unaffiliated member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. OLLU's other athletic teams, including basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, softball and volleyball, earned the 2009-2010 RRAC GPA Award for having the highest GPA of any Red River member institutions.

SAN ANTONIO (July 21, 2010) -- Our Lady of the Lake University announced that Leslie C. Cooper will join the women's tennis team during the 2010-2011 season. The San Antonio native is a graduate of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School in the Northside Independent School District.

SAN ANTONIO (July 7, 2010) -- Our Lady of the Lake University announced that Valerie Gonzalez from El Paso, Texas, will join the women's tennis team during the 2010-2011 season. Gonzalez is a graduate of Del Valle High School.

The women's tennis team ended its season in the first round of the Unaffiliated NAIA Regional Tournament in Oklahoma City last weekend. The University of the Southwest beat the Saints 6-3.

The women's tennis team beat Schreiner University 5-4 on April 18 in Kerrville, Texas. The team is now 4-12 for the season.
