
ORANGE BEACH, ALA. (Dec. 5, 2011) -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 286 men's soccer student-athletes have been named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Selected from Our Lady of the Lake University were: Gary Hamilton and Edgar Ramos.
Student-athletes from OLLU were nominated by the sports information officer. To be nominated, each must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order qualify for the honor.
TOWSON, MD. (Nov. 29, 2011) – Our Lady of the Lake University men's soccer standout Gary Hamilton has been selected to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America® College Division Men's Soccer Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The College Division Academic All-America® soccer teams are comprised of student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions.
Hamilton is included in the first team's defense, along with College of Idaho's James Collet, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Matthias Klatt and McPherson College's Tyler Tank. He is the only member of the Red River Athletic Conference included in this year's Capital One Academic All-America® team.

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 10, 2011) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team is on its way to North Texas this evening to participate in the 2011 Red River Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship tournament.
This will be the Saints third trip to the conference playoffs since the team kicked off intercollegiate athletics at OLLU in 2007. In 2009, the team lost to UT-Brownsville 1-2 in the playoff championships. Last year, the Saints lost 0-2 to Huston-Tillotson University in the semifinals match.

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 5, 2011) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team advanced to the semifinals stage of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) tournament Saturday after defeating Texas Wesleyan University (TWU) by the minimal difference of 1-0.
The Saints will now travel to Cedar Hill, Texas, for the second round of the RRAC tournament Nov. 11, when they will face a tough match against the top-seeded team of the tournament, Huston-Tillotson University. Game time is 1 p.m.
