
DECATUR, ALA. (Dec. 5, 2011) -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced last Friday that 485 women's soccer student-athletes have been named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Selected from Our Lady of the Lake University were: Abby Dulaney, Nikole Gase, Lauren Schultz, Rebekah Valenta and Evelyn Robledo.
Student-athletes from OLLU were nominated by the sports information officer. To be nominated, each must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order qualify for the honor.

WACO, TEXAS (Nov. 11, 2011) -- The Red River Athletic Conference announced today the members of the 2011 Red River Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Team and postseason award-winners as voted by the conference's head coaches.
Head Soccer Coach Shane Hurley was selected as co-coach of the year, along with Nik Barjaktarevic from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 10, 2011) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's soccer team is on its way to North Texas this evening to participate in the 2011 Red River Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship tournament.
This will be the Lady Saints' third trip to the conference playoffs. In 2009, the team lost 0-1 to UT-Brownsville in the championship match, and in 2010, the Lady Saints lost 0-2 to Northwood in the championship match.
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 4, 2011) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has received noticed that Abby DuLaney has been named to the First Team of the Capital One Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of Ameria (CoSIDA).
Nominations for the awards are submitted by members of the association. News and Sports Information Officer Patty Constantin represents OLLU in the association.

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 29, 2011) -- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's soccer team finished off its regular season with a heart-breaking loss to the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB). Both teams came into the match with undefeated 8-0 conference records and were playing for the top spot in the Red River Athletic Conference. The Lady Scorpions (9-0/15-2-1) won 1-0, and the Saints finish the regular season with 8-1 conference and 13-5 overall records and the No. 2 spot in the conference.
Prior to the match OLLU honored the five senior members of the squad. This was the last home match for Evelyn Robledo, Lauren Schultz, Bianca Ramirez, Hailey Olden and Tabytha Horseman.
