SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 26, 2018) – All of the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball lineup scored in a blistering 113-60 win over the University of St. Thomas (UST). The Saints improve to 9-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference and 15-6 overall, while the Celts drop to 3-7 in conference and 7-11 overall. The Saints are tied with LSU-Shreveport (9-1/20-1) for first place in the conference.
The Saints are 14-0 against the Celts. Earlier this season, the Saints defeated the Celts 88-75.
The Saints dominated the entire game. Lena Wilson (SO/Converse, Texas) led the way in the first two quarters as the Saints led from the start of the game. Quintianna LeShore (SR/Indianapolis, Ind.) gave the Saints the opportunity to overpowered the Celts 24-11 in the first quarter and 25-11 in the second period. Julia Rendon (SR/San Antonio, Texas) added nine points, and LeShore totaled eight.
Entering the third quarter, the Saints led 49-22, and they continued to push ahead to complete a 34-16 period. In the final period, the Celts fared better, scoring 22 points, but the Saints' 30 points propelled them to a 113-60 win.
Francesca Patrick (SR/Killeen, Texas) led the Saints in scoring with 17 points. She went 6-for-9 from the field and added 5-of-8 free throws. LeShore finished with 15 points, followed by Kasey Saldana (SO/San Antonio, Texas) with 14, Wilson with 13, Rendon with 12 and Destinee King (JR/Antelope, Calif.) with 10.
UST's Gabriela Alvarez led her team with 17 points, while teammates CheBria Porter added 11 and Bresha Orange scored 10.
Patrick had six assists and five steals for the Saints. Jariah McInnis added three assists for St. Thomas.

OLLU combined for 41-of-71 shooting for 57.75 percent, 12-of-18 from beyond the arc for 66.67 percent, and 19-of-25 from the charity stripe for 76.00. UST was 20-of-59 for 33.90 percent, 8-of-17 in 3-point attempts for 47.06 percent, and 12-of-16 free throws for 75.00 percent.
OLLU collected 38 total rebounds, while UST tallied 29. OLLU forced 23 turnovers and committed 10.
The Saints will host Texas College next on Jan. 27.
