KERRVILLE, TEXAS (March 11, 2019) – Members of the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team participated in the Schreiner Shootout sponsored by Schreiner University at the Valley and the Hills Country Club.
Head Coach Alan E. Baxter commented, "We had a successful outing. We did not enter as a team, but I wanted to get two seniors and our new freshman some experience on that course. We have a huge DI tournament there in two weeks. Our hard work is starting to pay off. I think the whole team will feed off what the guys accomplished. I am super proud of all three. What can I say about Louis and Steve - they are horses and we need to ride them to the pay window. More to come."
Landry shot 3-under for a first round 70 and second round 71 to finish in second place. Flynn was close by finishing in fourth with a first-round 69 and second-round 75 at even.Guimproved from a first-round 45th place to finish in a tie for 14th with scores of 80/72.

The Saints will play next at the Big Texan Classic hosted by the University of Texas of the Rio Grande Valley March 25-26. The tournament will take place in Kerrville.
